• Me: Harry Potter is, like, the gateway fandom. You start reading the books, then all of a sudden you have a Sonic Screw driver, you're carrying salt everywhere and awkwardly in love with Sherlock and you don't really know how any of it happened, but you're pretty sure it started because Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Dursely of 4 Privet Drive were proud to say that they were perfectly normal thank you very much.

I Am Harry Potter

Lucu bgt! Daniel Radcliffe mngalami krisis identitas ketika sedang dwawancara. Ia mngira dirinya adalah Harry Potter betulan.

Poor Daniel Radcliffe; he doesn't seem to know quite who he is these days.

The Harry Potter star recently teamed up with director/producer Judd Apatow to produce a Funny or Die video, in which D-Rad admits to having just a wee bit of trouble distinguishing himself from his character.

The Deathly Hallows

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a 2010/2011 two-part epic fantasy film directed by David Yates, written by Steve Kloves and based on the novel of the same name by J. K. Rowling. The film is produced by Rowling along with David Heyman and David Barron. The two parts form the seventh and final instalment in the Harry Potter film series, with the story following Harry Potter on a quest to find and destroy Lord Voldemort's secret to immortality – the Horcruxes. The films star Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, alongside Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as Harry's best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

Apa itu? Gue denger ada Oscar buzz... Nominasi Academy Award, hello. Yes! Tegang dari awal sampe akhir, gue cukup puas dan kmungkinan bakalan nonton lagi. Sharusnya sbuah film spt ini, ga prlu trlalu trpaku sama novelnya tapi ga jauh juga dari esensi bukunya. Yg penting spiritnya bsa dapet, dan juga bagi gue sbuah film harus bsa mmbagi plot dg piawai.

Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) dan para Death Eatersnya mulai memasuki pemerintahan setelah membunuh Perdana Mentri Sihir Rufus Scrimgeour (Bill Nighy). Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione Granger (Emma Watson), dan Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) mulai mnjadi buronan di dunia sihir, dan mereka mulai mencari para Hocrux, jimat2 milik Voldemort yg trpencar brisi jiwanya. Pada saat brsamaan, mereka menemukan sesuatu dlm pelarian mereka bahwa Voldemort mngincar salah satu benda legendaris The Deathly Hallows brnama Elder Wand. Hanya waktu yg bsa menentukan sapa pemenang dari perang ini. Disutradarai oleh David Yates.

Sangatlah dark dan dramatis, dan mnurut gue paling hebat daripada film2 HP lainnya (setelah Prisoner of Azkaban). Part 2nya aja blon muncul, tapi mmbuat gue ga sabar utk nontonnya. Para kritikus mmberi review film ini cukup bagus, dan gue condong stuju ke mereka apalagi film ini uda ada Oscar buzznya. Dari segi kualitas, gue mlihat bahwa film ini ga malu2 ngasi smuanya. Plot cukup padat dan memadai; buang yg ga perlu, pakai yg penting. Jalan crita lumayan mngalir dg jelas shingga mudah dmngerti. Akting para aktor smuanya brkaliber trutama para tokoh utamanya yg kini sudah dewasa. Bbrapa kali mereka mnunjukan bahwa mereka bsa memberikan prtunjukan yg oke, trutama di bagian dramatisasinya. Cukup emosional juga, apalagi banyak karakter yg tewas di film ini. Action juga lumayan; prpaduan antara dunia modern dan dunia sihir sangat bagus skali dipadukan dan ga trasa aneh. Dan terus terang, cukup sadis dan horor. Kalau saja film ini bukan utk konsumsi kluarga, mngkin film ini akan lbh brani nunjukkin imej2 yg lbh mngerikan.



Yg pasti gue GA nganjurin film ini buat anak2 kecil. Film ini pantas dtonton oleh remaja dan dewasa karena banyaknya imej2 mnyeramkan dan seksual yg gue rasa anak kecil ga akan ngerti dan mngkin bakalan ktakutan. Mnurut brita (bukan gosip), film ini sbenernya mo pake rating R alias dewasa, tapi karena film ini emang mo didistribusikan buat kluarga, akhirnya dturunkan ratingnya ke PG13. Awalnya film ini sbnernya bakal lebih sadis spt film "SAW" dan mnyeramkan spt film "Alien", tapi krn dprotes oleh badan sensor, akhirnya ga jadi. Mudah2an ada Director's Cutnya ntar.

Bbrapa kali gue mo trhanyut oleh jalan critanya yg ga kaya film fantasi, tapi lebih ke film drama yg pekat dg sisi emosinya. Spt nonton film independent yg lbh mntingin kualitas. Gue trharu liat prsahabatan Harry, Hermione, dan Ron. Ada rasa cemburu, cinta, pngorbanan, pnyesalan, dan lain sbagainya. Cinematografinya indah bgt, mngingatkan gue dg film "Lord of The Rings". Gerakan kameranya juga bagus bgt, ga monoton tapi cukup real. Cukup di rekomen HANYA bagi pnggemar berat Harry Potter series saja. Untuk penonton kasual, mngkin ga akan trlalu ngeh atau ngerti apa yg trjadi dan mngkin akan biasa2 aja. Skali lagi, anak2 mndingan ga usa nonton dehh. Bbrapa kali gue denger ada anak kecil nangis ktakutan waktu ada adegan serem.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Dramatis dan cukup dewasa, pikir gue ketika menonton film ini. Lupakan sudah film2 Harry Potter terdahulu yg kekanakan dan penuh fantasy. Film ini lebih condong ke realita dunia kita, dan masalah2nya serta cukup DARK.

Tahun ke 6 sekolah di Hogwarts, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) menemukan sebuah buku pelajaran usang utk kelas potion, dmana di halamannya terdapat tulisan "Property of Half-Blood Prince." Harry menggunakan buku pelajaran tersebut utk membuat nilai2nya bagus, tanpa mngetahui siapa pemilik buku tsb. Sementara itu, terjadi serangan2 thd murid Hogwarts dan Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) sering mnghilang dan Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) sering mngndap2 di malam hari. Apakah gerangan yg trjadi? Rahasianya tdp di masa lalu Voldermort sendiri.

Bagi penonton awam ataw kasual yg tdk pernah membaca buku ini ataw tdk trlalu ngefans sama film2nya HP, akan kebingungan dan mngharapkan ACTION yg seru di setiap adegannya. Tapi bagi pnggemar HP yg memang sdh ntn film dan baca bukunya, akan mndapatkan bahwa film ini cukup bagus dan sangat kalem atau tenang....sebelum badai. A quiet before the storm mnurut gue, krn gue taw film berikutnya, "The Deathly Hallows part 1 & part 2" akan banyak actionnya, shingga film ini spt build up film yg membuat penasaran dan ga sabar utk ntn film terakhirnya.



Tentu saja, film ini akan mndapatkan bintang 5 kalo saja bbrapa adegan penting di buku ga dipotong di film. Tapi skali lagi, gue pikir ini film ini adl jembatan utk menuju film terakhir, jadi gue maklum aja. Ga smua org bsa maklum, itu bsa dmengerti. Dari segi akting, smuanya sdh handal smua, terutama Tom Felton yg smakin matang. Banyak adegan2 komedi, dan dialog2 lucu. Sdikit mnyeramkan bagi gue, gue ntnnya di balik tangan gue. Cinematographynya indah, dg warna2 yg sendu. Musik Harry Potter sudah agak mnghilang dan dganti dg lagu dramatis.

Scara kseluruhan, film ini dbawah "Prisoner of Azkaban" dan "Goblet of Fire", tapi msh cukup keren daripada "Order of The Phoenix". Intinya, gue mngrekomendasikan film ini buat para fans berat, tapi tdk terlalu thd fans awam dan juga anak2 kecil -- so para kluarga, ga usah bawa anak2nya yg msh kecil krn mereka ga akan ngerti soal tema2 dewasa spt romance, dan pengkhianatan. Kekurangan film ini adalah film ini cukup lama, tapi sayang ada bbrapa hal yg djelaskan mngenai Half Blood Prince. Kelebihannya adl, film ini cukup stuck di benak gue dan gue cukup puas akan direksi film ini yaitu tema kedewasaan.

Prequel Harry Potter

JK Rowling has written an 800-word prequel to the Harry Potter series which is likely to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity at auction.

The handwritten short story, featuring the fictional wizard's father James and his friend Sirius Black in their younger years, fills both sides of a piece of A5 card and is signed by the author. A 93-word teaser card carrying plot clues sold in 2002 for £26,680, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a book of fairytales which plays a central role in Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, made £1.95m last year.

Rowling, who has earned £560m from the seven Potter books, is determined the latest instalment will not be developed further, writing at the end of the story: "From the prequel I am not working on - but that was fun!" Last year she said that if she did write another Potter tale it would not be for a decade.

The new work is among 13 storycards by authors including Margaret Atwood, Nick Hornby and Doris Lessing being auctioned to raise money for English Pen, which promotes understanding through literature, and Dyslexia Action at Waterstone's London Piccadilly store next month.

Copies of the What's Your Story? cards will be displayed in branches and online after the sale and will be published as a collection to be sold by the chain in August, with profits going to the charities.

Gerry Johnson, managing director of Waterstone's, said: "We never dreamed that JK Rowling would donate something so precious. I can't begin to guess how much it will raise at auction." The plot is a closely guarded secret, but Philip Errington, children's books specialist at Sotheby's, which is conducting the auction on June 10, revealed that Harry does not feature, although a policeman does.
